Chase Inventory Services - Getting Greener

We may not be the most obvious business you think of when considering green credentials but Chase Inventory Services has started to do their part for the environment over the last year.

Here’s what we’ve done:
  • Cut back on posting inventories and other documents by asking our clients to accept email copies;
  • Asked our clients to accept invoices by email and pay by electronic transfer;
  • Swapped the MD’s car for a low emissions vehicle.

Best of all, the reduction in printing and snail mail use has not only saved paper and ink but also helped us save on costs, too. In the last year, our postal bill has gone down over 50%.

Add in the cost of print cartridges and the reams of paper we haven’t used and that’s a significant saving. This is a great incentive to keep looking at other ways we can improve our bottom line and the environment at the same time.
